- At the Institute there is LAN network spread in four buildings with over 160 computers, 5 servers and 20 switches

- To inform the personnel on the activities at the Institute

- To give possibilities for the exchange of information among the organizational units

- Kerio WinRoute Firewall software for 110 simultaneous users on Internet
